Error in IGI records????

Since the Mormon site "www.familysearch.com" started last year I've been visitiing frequently. If you haven't been there visit, its worth the trip, especially for those researching families like the Eachus's. I have noticed what I believe to be an error in some of the records. As we all know, MANY of our Eachus ancestors lived in Chester County and in East & West Goshen (near West Chester Pa).
The Problem: The IGI records for a number of Eachus's show Goshen in Clearfield County (up near State College) as the place of birth!!!
This has to be a mistake...

Can anyone confirm for sure???? I believe the database was populated by mormon volunteers who reviewed direct records. They probably had place of birth (i.e. Goshen) and wanted to enter a county so they looked it up (just a guess).

In any case the mormon site is a great resource but there will be errors.

See ya...
