In all my research of Philip and Barbara Klinger (b.June 28, 1759) I have come to a suspicion that Barbara Ecos may have been actually Barbara "Eachus". The pronunciation of the name would have been the same and it may have been spelled as it was pronounced. There were many Eachus family members in Chester County, Pa. at the same time as our Klinger family. I haven't been able to find any of the Eachus families that had a Barbara, but maybe there is someone who has the resources to follow up on this more thouroughly than I could. I would be interested to know if this could be proven.
