Pierre Ethier married Melina Salvail(le) on 8 July 1873 in Sorel, PQ. As a widower, he married Hermine Aussant(Aussault) on 19 November 1895 in Sorel, PQ. She was the widow of Joseph Labonte. Hermine's daughter, Rosilda Ethier, married Louis Petit-dit-St-Michel on 30 September 1913 in St-Pierre, Sorel, PQ. Confusion probably arises because the data shows her father as "Paul Ethier". Pierre and Melina had daughters Angelina, Anne-Marie, and son Pierre-Georges. Pierre and Hermine had daughters Aurianna and Rosilda.
Pierre's ancestral Ethier line is Godfroid, Louis, Louis, Rene-Joseph, Rene and Leonard (the New France progenitor).
