although youve had your message posted for awile,ive just recently come across.are you still willing to share inffo about ethier line? i've already traced my roots to leanord and elisabeth godillon i have copies of most of the certificates.i am descended from leanords youngest son joseph. ibelieve he grew up not knowing leanord after leanord was killed in that huge indian raid of 1692. i got most of my information while i was in montreal about 5 years ago doing research at the excellent archives they have there for the french people and others who were there in the early days.but my records stop at leanord and elisabeth. i dont have too much exept references of ettienne and margeurite sabelle, would you like to tell me about them? also do you know anything about a testament elisabeth godillon left to my ancestor her son joseph or and pictures or other documents.thankyou for reading this.i live in oshawa ontario canada. i was born in ottawa ontario on july 21 1958. i would be willing to share other information what you ask that i might have. i am first generation in my line that does not speak french. my mother and father both speak french my mother is a lacroix. i grew up in english society.
