Tomasz, I am a 3rd generation Polish American living in Minnesota, USA. My Grandfather was Walter Dzioba. I heard through family stories he is of possibly Ukranian descent. He married another immigrant Rose Serdynski in the early 1920's in Milwaukee Wisconsin. I don't have any info on the Dzioba family in Poland. I do know that Rose's mother was Josephine Serdynski. Any input would be helpful. I am actually traveling to Poland in June 2007 with my daughter's high school choir. We will be visiting Bytow, Krakow and Warsaw. It seems that when the Dzioba's came to the US, that some stayed on the East coast...Connecticut, and many traveled/lived in the midwest portion of the country.
