I believe that my Dyson ancestors and your's may be from the same family line. My great great grandfather James Dyson came to America from Manchester, Lancashire, UK in 1841. I haven't been able to find much about him except that he lived in Oldham at one time and he married Hannah Wilson in the UK. He was born in 1803 but I don't know where he was born. His son's names were: Thomas, William, Joseph and Edwin. I am a descendant of his son, Thomas. Two of his sons were born in Oldham and two were born near Manchester.
