I'm looking for any information on James William Dyson dob 1830-1850ish. He married Mary Alice Hembree around 1877 and had one son, Charles Albert Dyson near Eugene Oregon. He came across with the Applegate party in the mid 1800's and was known to be a sheriff, trapper, woodsman and cowboy. We have very little information about him. We know a lot about Mary Alice. Any information is appreciated. My grandmother may have more specifics if there are any possibilities.
