Dysons must have been thick as thieves around Huddersfield. I have a g-g-g-grandfather John Dyson, born 14 April 1825 in Blackmoorfoot near Huddersfield, son of Joseph Dyson and Sarah Moore. He came to the US in his teens, lived as an adult first in Hinckley OH and then in Galva IL. He was a wagon maker.
