Hello cousin? Sorry for not responding before now. Adelaide Haney was the daughter of Thomas J. Haney and Ann C. (Smith) Haney. She was not married to Marshall Dyson. Annie Caroline Haney was married to Marshall Edwin Dyson, and she is buried along with him at King, Texas (Coryell County). Thomas J. Haney first married Kate Smith. His second marraige was to Kate's younger sister Ann C. Smith (probably after Kate's death, but that is conjecture). Kate and Ann were the daughters of Daniel and Ann (Bullock) Smith from Union County, Mississippi, and later to Lafayette County, MS. 1850 Union County census shows Thomas and Kate in Daniel Smiths' household. Their children listed were Ann C. (Caroline), age 2 years, and Daniel H., age 10 months. 1860 Lafayette County census shows Thomas and Ann in their own home with children: Calvin, age 7 years...Adelaide, age 5 years...Caroline (Annie Caroline), age 12 years. Just for record: my grandfather (Charley Foster Dyson) was the sone of Marshall Edwin and Annie Caroline Dyson. My grandmother (Delia Dell Foster Dyson) was the daugther of Si and Adelaide Foster. Guess that makes them 1 1/2 cousines, I guess!! Are you related to the Coryell County Dysons? If so, how? Hope the info helps. Email = "a1947jld@aol.com"
