I am descended from Benjamin Dyson b. ca. 1795 (not sure where). He married Catharine (maiden name unknown) b. ca. 1805 (not sure where). They are listed on the 1850 and 1860 census for Bladen County, North Carolina along with the following children:

Mary Dyson b. ca. 1837
Emily C. Dyson b. ca. 1842
Angus and Susan had 12 children:
1. Winnin Russ Dyson b. 1859 m. Laura ? b. 1867
2. Arcenia Dyson b. 1861 m. W.A. Watson
3. Victoria Elizabeth Dyson b. 1864 m. Arnold Hassan Pate
4. Robert Benjamin Dyson b. 1866 m. Rebecca Smith (my great-grandparents)
5. Frederick Dyson b. 1868
6. Matilda Jane Dyson b. 1870
7. Angus Paul Dyson b. 1872
8. Susan Dyson b. 1874 m. John Anders
9. Annie V. Dyson b. 1877
10. Dock King Dyson b. 1878 m. Edna Horrell
11. King A. Dyson b. 1879
12. Zeb Vance Dyson b. 1879 (King & Zeb are probably twins)
As far as I can tell, they were all born in Bladen County - they are all buried in the Dyson Cemetary there. I'm trying to find out about Benjamin & Catherine's parents and siblings as well as the descendents of Robert Benjamin's siblings. Thank you so much.
