Ellie, My great-great grandfather was Aquilla Dyson, however, in the early 1860's he was near Monroe, La. We lost track of him after the civil war and we do not know where he went. What time was the Aquilla in TN? Just wondering if there was a connection. Also, was Aquilla a common name in the seventeeth century? Any info would help. Thank you
