Dear Sarah,
It is so long after your posting I have no idea if you are still seeking this information, but I have found some overlap in our research, although the dates seem a bit funky. One person whom I beleive to by my ancestor is a William Dyson born abt. 1700 of Golcar, West Yorkshire, England and married a Sara Bottom, born in the same location in 1700. They wed in 17 Sept. 1717 St. Peter's Huddersfield West Yorkshire. Thier son John was born 12 May, 1738 Oldham, West Yorkshire. His siblings were Betty, James, Martha, Susanna, Mary, Hellen, and Edward. For whatever reason several of these names were listed twice with diferrent dates (clerical error?) I have been using familysearch.org, the LDS site. (It's great and all FREE!) I hope that you get this information after such a long while and that is usefull to you.
By interesting coincidence I am also a descendant of Martha Lodge, b. 1765 in Almondbury, Yorkshire, daughter of Benjamin Lodge, so perhaps we are related on two lines. Best Regards,
Ron Grillo.
