I decend from Isham Dyson and wife Assenath Melissa Jordan ...on Dekalb County Ga census of 1830 and moved then to Troup County Ga where he died about 1841...She is on Troup County GA census a widow in 1850. I descend from their son William Dyson, a Confederate soldier. Another son, Rev. Thomas Brown Dyson, was a Baptist minister here in Alabama, for a time in Bibb County. Another son, Nathan Dyson. Other children also. My William had children to marry here in Alabama but we are told that sometime after 1870 he moved with the rest of his family to somewhere in Texas.
