I am trying to find an exact birth and/or death date for my g.g.g.granfather. All I have is a copy of his 2nd marriage certificate of 1845 in Bradford West Yorkshire to Mary Day. His age is stated at 48 meaning his birth around 1796/7. His father is named as Emanuel. According to UK census he was born in Huddersfield. I can not find a death record for a Robert Dyson that matches his age, nor a birth record, other than a Robert born to Emanuel in 1789, which means his age on his mariage certificate is not correct. Does anybody know anything about Dysons in Huddersfield around 1789-1798 that could give me chance of finding him. The last UK census he appears on is 1851 and he was living in South Crosland, Hudderfield with his wife Mary and 2 children Oliver age 4 and Alfred age 7 months. Any ideas greatly appreciated.
