Dear William, Thanks for responding to my post. I researched the Dysart family for my Aunt Gladys who was one of the daughters of Gladys Dysart and Joseph Kern. Obituary September 12, 1951 Source Unknown Thomas Dysart aged 82, passed away at Warrensville Infirmary, September 9, 1951. Burial Hillcrest Cemetery. For further information call James J. Mahon Funeral Home, CE 1-5968.Recent Deaths FPS December 31, 1936 Thursday Obituary for Minnie: FPS December 31, 1936 Mrs. Joseph Van Dyke Mrs. Minnie Christy Van Dyke, 67, died Sunday at her home following an illness of three weeks with pneumonia. A former resident of Cleveland, she was a member of Lutheran church. Services were held Tuesday 10 AM at the home with Rev. Earl Stainbrook officiating. Burial was made in Lakeview cemetery, Cleveland. She leaves her husband, Joseph; a daughter Mrs. Gladys Kearns (sic), and two sons, Harold and Frank Dysart of Cleveland; five grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Kate Thomas of Carrollton, and a brother, Frank Christy of Canton. Minnie was married 3 times: Thomas W. Dysart, Julius Nagel, and Joseph Van Dyke. Minnie's parents were: Charles Christy (March 1832-September 15, 1892; He was born in Wurtemberg Germany and died in Canton, Stark, OH; Philipena Scheuer, born August 21, 1842, in Hesse Darmstadt, Germany, died on September 1, 1920 in East Cleveland, Cuyahoga, OH. They had 6 children: John, Charles, Katherine, Franklin, Philimina, and Mary Mell A. Christy. Thomas W. Dysart was the son of David Dysart who was born in Scotland on october 6, 1832 in Forfarshire, Angusshire, Scotland and died in Carroll County Infirmary, OH on December 5, 1917; he married Barbara Shuster on September 28, 1859 in Tuscarawas County, OH. Barbara Shuster was born on February 14, 1832 in Tuscarawas County, OH; died on February 17, 1901 in Rose, Carroll County, OH; They had 7 children: Anne e. James O., Mary Jane, Thomas W. Lilly, J. E. and William A.Dysart. Barbara was the daughter of Samuel Shuster and Elizabeth Hillery; Samuel was the son of Daniel Shuster, who was an immigrant from Germany who served in the American Revolution and Marie Margaret Shuster. Served in American Revolutionary War asa Private on the muster roll of Captain James Wright's Company in Youghegenia Militia in September 1778, commander, John Stevenson, Westmoreland County; also appears as a Private under Captain George Sharp, Washington County Militia 1782-1785 Last Will and Testament of Daniel Shuster In the name of God, Amen, I Daniel Shuster of Tuscawaras county and state of ohio being sound in mind, memory and health and knowing that ll mankind must yield to death do think propper (sic) to make this my last will and testament in manner and form following: 1. I will my soul to God who gave it and my body to the earth and to be buried in a Christian like manner. 2. I will and desire that all my just and legal debts be paid out of my estate. 3. I will and bequeath to my loving wife Margaret Shuster one bed, one saddle and one Thousand dollars to be put out on interest for her use during her life time. 4. I will and bequeath to George Stoody a quarter section of land No. 33, range 7, township 15, as shis share of my estate. 5. I will and bequeath to George Tressel one quarter section of land No. 36, range 7, Township 15, as his share of my estate. 6. I will to George Morninger a quarter section of land 6 range 7, Township 15. 7. I will to Michael Smith a quarter section of land No. 12, range 7, Township 15. 8. I will to Henry Macamon a quarter section of land No. 23, range 7, Township 15 as his share of my estate. 9. I will to Adam Macamon, a quarter section of land No.l 17, range 7, Township 15 as his share of my estate. 10. I will to John Welsh a quarter sectionf of land No. 25, range 7, Township 16 as his share of my estate. 11. I will and bequeath to Sara Shuster three lots in New Philadelphiha No.l 400 and 42 and 400 and 43 and 4000 and 83 and four hundred dollars in cash agains she is of age. If they all keep house together until John gets of age the kitchen furniture is to be divided between the widow and Samuel and John and Sarah Shuster and when John is of age and Samuel is to divide the stock and the farming utensils equal. When all the debts is paid and one thousand dollars put out on interest for the use of the widow and then to make an equal divide amongst all my children of the money as it comes due. And at the death of the widow them thousand dollars is to be divided amongst the girls. Witness Lewis Macamon, Daniel Shuster Seal George Tressel I I consititute or ordain Thomas McCreery to be my while and soul executor, and Dickerson Roberts this fifth day of June 1818 I now desire and appoint Thos. McCreery to be guardian for my son John. At a special Court of Common Pleas held the third day of September 1818 the last will and testament of Daniel Shuster lalte of said county, deceased , was brought into court by Margaret Shuster widow and relect of the late Daniel Shuster and duly proven to be the last will and testament of the late Daniel Shuster by Lewis Madamon and George Tressel subscribing witnesses thereto whereupon the court order that the said will be recorded and the letters of Administration with the will annexed be granted to John Davy and Samuel Lappin that they give security in the sum of eight thousand dollars.
