James A. Dysart came to America with his grandfather, also a Samuel Dysart, in 1761, when James was 17. You can find a detailed history of this line of the family on my website, http://www.ultra-nav.com/dysart I scanned a monograph written by my great-great-aunt, Mima Malcolm Raffington, daughter of Charles Scarlett Raffington and Sarah Jane Dysart. I have since learned that this monograph authored by her, has appeared in other publications verbatim. Aunt Mima wrote this in 1960, based on a family history begun by her father in the late 1800's.
