They are in my wife Val's family. The three Dysart women are sisters, the daughters of John Willis Dysart, Sr. and Mary Carson. Their brother John Willis Jr., born October 13, 1885, was Val's grandfather, who married Naomi Irene King, born February 9, 1894. They ar buried in Pine Log Cemetery just north of Cartersville GA.

John Willis Dysart Sr. was the son of Joseph Lowery Dysart, born about 1817/1818 in Dysartville, NC, and Sarah Elizabeth Upshaw, about the same age. Joseph Lowery descends through James Y. S. Dysart from the James Dysart who was killed at Cowens Ford in the Revolution, but I must look up paper records to determine the exact lineage. E-mail if you wish, and I'll pass the message on to Val.

The Dysarts and Smiths have an annual reunion/picnic every summer in Bartow County GA. We often get there.
