I have come across a DYNES, which may interest you.
I am researching the RUSSELL family of Drumgor townland in Seagoe Parish, and Crossmacahilly townland in Knocknamuckley Parish.
Robert RUSSELL (chr 1846, Drumgor, Seagoe, son of Alexander RUSSELL)married Rebecca DILWORTH (b 1850/1, Crossmacahilly, Knocknamuckley, dau of William DILWORTH).
The couple moved between these 2 townlands between 1871 and 1888.
Rebecca was recorded in the 1901 census for Drumgor with several of their children. Robert, however, was recorded in the 1901 census for Partick, Lanark, Scotland (now part of Glasgow), where his daughter married 2 years later.
Robert was the head of the household at 6 John St, Partick with 2 boarders who were both Irish-born: Joseph DYNES aged 24, and Robert ADAMSON aged 54 years. Given Robert's connection with Seagoe/Knocknamuckley and his relatively recent arrival in Scotland (post 1886), I would say that this DYNES is from the same parish.
The names I am researching from these parishes are:
Russell, Dilworth,Gracey/Grayson, Fowler,Lyness. Also connected families from the same parishes: Best, Stevenson, Holmes, Anderson, McCormick, Brown, Hanlon, Hart, Dixon, McCann, Graham, Austin.
