I think I've come across the St Margaret's marriage you mention before. I think its very likely that James Dynes fits somewhere into the Dyneses I have been tracing, but at present I am not sure where. There is some confusion regarding the Dyneses in this period. In particular, there is another James (of Nettlestead), who married Elizabeth Chase at Metfield in 1832. There is a Solomon and Sarah Dynes in Ipswich in Ipswich in the 1820's, with sons Samuel and William, but Solomon seems to be the brother of the above James rather than your James, as the Solomon name is common with the Nettlestead line.

One day it may all make sense!

Strangely enough, the abover James Dynes of Nettlestead emigrated to Ontario and I have had contact via the net with a couple of my distant cousins over there before - Jay Dynes, Karen Buchanan and David Clark - David was about to have a Dynes history published last time he wrote to me. If you'd like more details, let me know.

Cheers

Shane
