I would like to contact Dynes descendants from Manchester, Connecticutt. Both Rolstons and Dynes were in Manchester during the late 19th century, and both families were from Drumcree parish in Northern Ireland. Two of 7 Rolston brothers went to Manchester. One was Robert Henry Rolston and his only daughter Elizabeth Ann was born at Manchester in 1876. I have a copy of a letter from her to her uncle Samuel Rolston in New Zealand, in which she described the burial place of her father and her uncle William Rolston. She also wrote about her Dynes relatives. I quote: "We often go to the graves when we are at the cemetery. Frank and Robert and Priscilla are all buried in the same cemetery but each one has their own lots. Priscilla Dynes who married a man by the name of Martin has 2 children out here in So. Manchester. An older brother came out too but he had an operation and died. Her daughter Rebecca is married and we are very good friends. Father always liked the children and we remember Priscilla also the grandmother Rebecca Dynes". If anyone recognises these names, I have more information to exchange. For example, Rebecca was the wife of James Dynes from the townland of Foy in Drumcree parish. He was born in 1822. He was from a substantial Dynes family at the neighbouring townland of Derrycaw and they intermarried with the Rolstons. James Dynes's sister Sarah Jane married to James Rolston was my g-g-grandmother. Ken Rolston
