Thomas Dyess' father was John Dyess, b. 1737, Bath Co., NC. His grandfather was Henry Dyess , dob unknown to me; d. March 1737 in Bath Co., NC. John Dyess' mother Mary died Dec. 1737. Was her death associated with John's birth in 1737? This is one of my unanswered questions so far.
