hi chuck, what i printed was all i had. and i just got that off his death cert. need to find a 1870 fla cen for alachua co fla. now his wife at the time jessie mae williams,driggers,best,dyess, her first daughter married a ivey sapp. i have found them on the census. lewis dyess was born in 1861 so he should be on the 1870 and 1880 cen. but on the LDS site i can't find him on the 1880. know he had to have been married before he married jessie. he is listed as a carpanter on his death cert. keep in touch. you can email me direct if you want. jo
