John Dyer, d.1818, Williamson Co., TN

Seeking to identify the names of the children (and the children’s spouses) of John Dyer, d. by July 1818, Williamson Co., Tennessee. In 1813 John Dyer was living in Williamson County where he was listed on the tax roll with 150 acres on Arrington Creek.

According to the 1820 Williamson Co., TN, census entry for Levina Dyer, probably John’s widow, they may have had at least four sons and four daughters. Isaiah Dyer (1808-1857), who died in neighboring Rutherford Co., TN, was probably one of the sons.

There was a Robert Dyer named as a purchaser at John Dyer’s estate sale in 1818, but I don’t know whether he was a son, brother, or some other relationship to John.

I would appreciate hearing from anyone with information about this family, even if it is only a small piece of info about one of the children. Thanks.
