I am looking for the family of Mary Ann Dye; Birth: 5 Apr 1831 in Rutherford, North Carolina, United States Death: 2 Feb 1913 in Almartha, Missouri, United States who married Azariah (Zear) Olden Parnell; Birth: 4 Aug 1819 in Washborn, Kentucky, United States Death: 1 Jan 1887 in Almartha, Ozark, Missouri, United States. Zear and Harvy Fry were two of the movers and shakers that founded Almartha, MO (became a ghost town when the new highway passed it by.) They both serve in the Civil War. Zear Parnell and Harvy Fry both had grandfathers that served in the revolution. I would like to know more about Mary's family. The Fry family and the Dye family are both known to have been in McMinn County TN. at the same time. Harvy Fry's son, James Marian Fry married Zear and Mary Ann Dye's daughter Nancey Parcilla Parnell
