My fourth Grandfather Harvy Fry was born in McMinn county, TN His son James Marian Fry married Nancey Parnell daughter of Mary Ann Dye; Birth: 5 Apr 1831 in Rutherford, North Carolina, United States Death: 2 Feb 1913 in Almartha, Missouri, United States who married Azariah (Zear) Olden Parnell; Birth: 4 Aug 1819 in Washborn, Kentucky, United States Death: 1 Jan 1887 in Almartha, Ozark, Missouri, United States. Zear and Harvy Fry were two of the movers and shakers that founded Almartha, MO (became a ghost town when the new highway passed it by.) They both serve in the Civil War. Zear Parnell and Harvy Fry both had grandfathers that served in the revolution. Sense Harvy Fry and your Dye family lived in Mcminn County, TN there has to be a connection between them. I would like to know more about Mary's family.

Truly yours,
Phillip Maine, son of Harold Maine and Elener Fry (still living), daughter of James Ewin Fry and Emile Maude Hammons, son of James Marian Fry (Killed in the last trolley car wagon accident in Springfield, MO in 1901) and Nancy Priscilla Parnell, Daughter of Azariah (Zear) Parnell and Mary Ann Dye.
