Dear Mrs. Beck,
I am Aaron Wesley Dicus's great-granddaugter.My dad, James Michael Dicus, is the son of A.W.'s youngest son, James Thomas Dicus. My great-grandmother was Bertha Jane Quick.
Aaron Wesley was born May 30, 1888, Festus, Jefferson County, Missouri, and died September 2, 1978, in Temple Terrace, FL.He and Bertha were married on June 16, 1909, in Swayzee, IN.His parents were Erie Jefferson and Phebe Ann Lucas.
Great-Grandpa wrote many hymns and I wonder if you know many of them if you are a member of the Church of Christ?
I am Melinda Leigh Dicus, eldest daughter of James Michael.(Although I am a twin...I can only claim oldest by 1 minute.)I am 13 years old so I never knew Great-Grandpa personally.
If you would like any more information please e-mail me.
