My Grandfather is Henry J. Dyck and he was born in Steinfelt, Prussia in the mid 1800's and migrated through Ellis Island. I have an uncle who is doing the family tree. This sounds like some of my family that you have mentioned. I will have to pull the records. His mother died in childbirth and her name was Maria Schpansky Dyck. They later settled at Corn, OK which is a large Mennonite area. There are still many descendants at Corn and various parts of Western Oklahoma.
