Kelly,
The Index to the Killaloe Diocesan Marriage Licences [in which diocese which Mt.Shannon, Co. Clare is situated] notes that Eliza Dyas and Thomas Logan were married in 1828. The original licence does not survive.
The same index also notes that a Lucinda Dyas married Edward Cox in 1837, Robert Dyas married Judith Logan in 1845 and Thomas Dyas married Anne Logan in 1845.
Members of the Dyas family are generally found in County Meath although I know of a Captain Joseph Dyas living in Ennis Co. Clare in the 1830's, possibly a relative of your Eliza Dyas.
If you have any information on members of the Dyas family in Australia I would be delighted to hear from you.
Roger
