I sent you wrong information, just connected with a relative from Charleston, SC who says he has a lot of information on the Dyal family. I am glad you laid your hands on that book, the head of the Jacksonville Southeastern Genealogy Society is trying to write a book on the people buried in the Old Gravelly Hills Cemetery, in Jacksonville. Two of them are Dyals, never heard of them. I was able to procur a copy of the Joseph Habersham's 3 volumes of Revolutionary War soldiers, however, it has not proven to be a treasure trove. John Dial is listed as a private under General Moses Pierson's company in SC under Francis Marion. I am going to donate these books to the Southeastern Genealogy Society in Jacksonville. My mother, grandmothers, and great great aunt joined the D.A.R. under a John Dyal(Dial), m. to a Nancy Wiley. That information is incorrect.
