This is very complicated, but Harriet Dyal Wiley McEachin was my great great great grandmother. There is no known proof that she was actually married to either Daniel Cornelius McEachin or James Wiley. It is generally known that she had a child, James Nathaniel Dyal, with a slave, probably a Robert Williamson belonging to a David and Rhoda Williamson(have the facts-long story). Anyway, this whole story goes back to twins, b. in 1781, a John Dial, Jr. and a George Washington Dial, born to a John Dial(Dyal Sr.). One of them was my gggg grandfather, and the other one was my ggg grandfather. It turns out that that my ggg grandmother and my gg grandmother were associated with the same person, only proof of marriage to Mary Etta Dyal , and it turns out that Emma Florence McEachin and George Washingtion Dyal who married each other, were first cousins, once removed. I have a tintype of Daniel Cornelius McEachin, and a photograph of Mary Etta Dyal.
