Hi Elicia! I have information on Cora L. Dyal and her parents William Washington Dyal, Sr. and Susan Anthony Howell.
William was born 1 Apr 1855 in Graham, Appling Co. and died 20 Feb 1924 in Hazlehurst, Jeff Davis Co, I have a copy of his death certificate.
Susan was 21 Feb 1848 and died 4 Dec 1904, they are both buried in Philadelphia Methodist Church Cemetery.
Susan had been married before William and had 2 daughters, Minnie E. (b. Abt 1869) and Alice J. (b. Abt. 1873). Susan and William had 7 children that I know of :
Cora L., Emma Florence, Clarence Conway (Sr.), Ira Sulton, Walter Monroe, Wilton, and William Washington Jr.
I do not have info on Susan's parents, but William's parents were George Washington Dyal (1817-1854) and Maria Elizabeth Rooks (1825-1884). They are also buried in Philadelphia Methodist Church Cemetery.
George's parents are John Dyall and Fairiby Ryals, and Maria's parents are Asa Vardiman Rooks and Phereby Burkett.
