Polly Duvall married John Sebastian Shehan February 26, 1791, in Nelson County, Kentucky. Seek proof that her parents were John Miles Duvall and Anarpy Tarleton of St. Mary's County, Maryland. Family tradition says that this family started to Kentucky with a large group, John Miles was drowned in to Potomoc, the widow and seven children continued on to Kentucky, where they settled in Nelson County. Can find no primary proof of this parentage. Such proof would lead to Mareen Duvall of Middle Plantation. Can anyone hlep?
