I have been researching St Chrysastome church records and found Duval dit Thout's there. also distant cousin 's Duval ancestor started out at Coux, could this be a variant of Thout? We have our Duvals traced back to marriage at Lachine in 1788, and his son Toussaint Duval married at Notre Dame , Montreal in 1800s. Family moved to Clinton Co. NY about 1850s.-Joyce & Phil duval
