There is a Robert Randolph DuVal - b. 1817, d. 1875 - who married Sallie Dandridge Cooke in 1849 - and had a son also named Robert Randolph DuVal traced no further - I am quoting the DuVal Family of Virginia - many in this branch migrated to Oklahoma and Texas - might be your R R
