Cornelius was the son of Samuel Pryor and Polly (Randsell) Duvall and was born about 1828 in Kentucky. in the 1850 census he was listed as 22 years old born in Ky and Euphemia was 20 years old, born in Ky and a daughter Rebecca aged 1.
