''nancy, dau. of adam'' states that her grandfather was lewis duvall of clinton county ky. meaning that he, lewis duvall is adams father. thats why he did not take the name of the family he belong to last before he was freed. he new he was a duvall. if this is the case then his ''adams''line goes back to col. lewis duvall, rev.war officer, south carolina service. dna testing of your male line would prove this. if you were to read all the messages , barbara lamb and myself, you will understand better. nancy, dau. of adam is probley nameed after nancy wiley, the mother of most of lewis duvalls children. and samuel is probly named after samuel duvall,a son of lewis duvall of clinton county ky. barbara lamb states that she has the linage of nancy duvall. regards, joe duvall
