My Samuel Duvall marr: Elizabeth Twiddy 11 Aug,1809 in Tyrell county, N.C. His father was John Devoul who marr:Sarah Best 30 Mar.1791 in Tyrell county, N.C. His father was John Devall who marr: Christain Hopkins.
Then I've found John Christopher Devall in "Colonial Bertie Co., N.C. Deed Books A-H 1720 - 1757. Quite a few Families from Bertie went into Tyrell county during this period.
