There is a reference to "Nicholas Duvall" as being one of the early settlers of Richland Township in Macon County, Missouri, in the History of Randolph & Macon Counties, Missouri, 1880.

I will be searching for more information in and around Macon, Missouri, in the near future and will post any information I find.
