There is an error on my original message posting about the family of Benjamin Duvall and his wife Sarah Thompson and involves the family of Jacob Duvall and his wife Jemima Anne Taylor. I had made the worst type-o and combined all of the children of the two families all into the family of Benjamin Duvall and his wife Sarah Thompson and they never should have been combined.
These are the correct children with their familes:
Family One:
Father: Benjamin Duvall chr 8 Feb 1774 Prince Georges County, Maryland and died in 1828 in Brooke County, Virginia now West Virginia; son of Benjamin Duvall chr 5 Nov 1746 Queens Anne Parish, Prince Georges County, Maryland and Jemima Taylor chr 1754 Queens Anne Parish, Prince Georges County, Maryland; grandson of Benjamin Duvall chr 29 May 1719 Queens Anne Parish, Prince Georges County, Maryland and Susannah Tyler chr 14 Feb 1717 Queens Anne Parish, Prince Georges County, Maryland.
Mother: Sarah Thompson born 1778 Prince Georges County, Maryland, daughter of James Thompson.
Marriage: 1800 Prince Georges County, Maryland
Children of Benjamin Duvall and Sarah Thompson are:
1. William Duvall (possible son) born Jun 1801. This William Duvall possibly may be the brother or other relative of Elizabeth Duvall McIntire. There is a William Duvall buried beside Elizabeth Duvall McIntire in the New Alexandria Cemetery, New Alexandria, Jefferson County, Ohio.
2. Elizabeth Duvall (possible daughter) born 1802 in Maryland and died in 1846 and is buried in the New Alexandria Cemetery, New Alexandria, Jefferson County, Ohio. Married Robert McIntire.
3. Thompson Duvall born 1804 in Maryland. Married Mary Crabb.
Family Two:
Father: Jacob Duvall born 1771 of Anne Arundel, Maryland; son of Enos Duvall chr Dec 1750 Queens Anne Parish, Prince Georges County, Maryland and Elizabeth Nicholsen chr 28 Feb 1756 Anne Arundel County, Maryland; grandson of Mareen Duvall chr 14 Oct 1702 Queen Anne Parish, Prince Georges County, Maryland and Ruth Howard chr 20 Mar 1708/1709 Saint Anne's Parish, Prince Georges County, Maryland.
Mother: Jemima Anne Taylor born 1772 in Maryland.
Marriage: 27 Jul 1791 Anne Arundel, Maryland
Children of Jacob Duvall and Jemima Anne Taylor are:
1. Mary Ann Duvall or Devaul born 19 May 1792 Washington County, Maryland and died in Morgan County, Ohio. Married Elijah Ball.
2. Edmund Forbes Duvall born 23 May 1794
3. Carolina Matilda Duvall born 14 Jun 1796. Married John Lamb on 7 May 1818 in Muskingum County, Ohio.
4. Sophia Ann Duvall born Sep 1797.
5. Allen Joseph Duvall born 12 Oct 1799 Prince Georges County, Maryland.
6. Kitty Duvall born Jun 1801
I am awaiting word from a 27 April 2002 correspondence with Nancy, a Benjamin Duvall and Sarah Thompson, Thompson Duvall and Mary Crabb, Leander Lock Duvall and Helen Davidson descendant to find the word on if or if not Thompson Duvall had a sister Elizabeth Duvall McIntire and a brother William Duvall.
