Would like to have the surname of Elizabeth
wife of Benjamin Skinner Duvall aka Skinner
Duvall. Newman says he went to Va. with his
parents about 1783. However, he appears on
tax lists for Henry Co., Va. in 1778 & 1779. During one of those years Lewis also
appears. Since one of his sons was named
Howard, another Lewis Howard, and at least 2
grandchildren were named Howard, it appears
that his wife may have been connected with the Howard family. Since there are Quaker
connections in the family, it is possible his wife was a Quaker.
