Caroline Matilda Duvall, b 1796 PA

My gg-grandfather, Samuel Augustus Aikins, is a son of Caroline Matilda Duvall, m1 Lamb, m2 Aikins. It has been posted on GenForum that Caroline Matilda Duvall had a sister, Mary Ann Duvall, and they were daughters of Benjamin Duvall and Sarah Thompson. The Samuel A Aikins Family Bible states, "Caroline Matilda Duvall, daughter of Jacob and Jermima Duvall, was born Jan 14th, 1796." Any information that could be provided on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Descendants of Caroline Matilda Duvall, to the best of my knowledge:

Caroline Matilda Duvall was born 14 Jan 1796 in , Washington, PA. She died 2 Sep 1834.
Caroline married (1) John Lamb on 7 May 1818 in Muskingum County, OH. John died 13 Sep 1819.

They had the following children:

Jacob Taylor Lamb was born 4 Jul 1819. He died Mar 1872.
Jacob married Celina Byers on 1 Apr 1844.

Caroline also married (2) Samuel Aikins, son of Robert Aikins and Mary Atteburn (?),
on 15 May 1823 in Muskingum County, OH. Samuel was born 21 Sep 1790 in , PA. He died
abt Dec 1878 in Silver Creek, Merrick, NE. Samuel was counted in the US Census 21
Sep 1850 in Swan Twp, Vinton, OH. He was counted in the US Census 20 Jun 1860 in the
town of Kewanee, Henry County, IL.

They had the following children:

Edmund Washington Aikins was born 27 May 1824. He died in West Liberty,
Muscatine, IA. Edmund was counted in the US Census 21 Sep 1850 in Deerfield Twp,
Morgan, Ohio.
Edmund married Mary [Aikins]. Mary was born about 1829 in Ohio. Mary was counted in
the US Census 21 Sep 1850 in Deerfield Twp, Morgan, Ohio.

William Robert Aikins was born 27 Jun 1825 in OH.
William was counted in the US Census 21 Sep 1850 in Deerfield Twp, Morgan, Ohio.
William married Grace Cope, daughter of William Cope and Sarah [Cope], on 30 Nov
1848 in Morgan County, OH. Grace was born about 1930 in Ohio. Grace was counted in
the US Census 21 Sep 1850 in Deerfield Twp, Morgan, Ohio.

Samuel Augustus "Gus" Aikins was born 23 Sep 1827 in prob Morgan County, OH.
He died 20 Jun 1900 in Aledo, Mercer, IL and was buried in Aledo Cemetery, Aledo,
Mercer, IL. Samuel was counted in the US Census 21 Sep 1850 in Deerfield Twp,
Morgan, Ohio. He moved at the start of the Civil War to Granfather Ebner's near
Aledo, Mercer, IL. He moved after the Civil War to Henry County, IL, back to the old
home. He moved in 1867 to Mercer County and rented a farm near Wm Doak. He moved
1868 to Rock Island County and bought an 80 acre farm near Hamlet. He moved 1869 to
an 80 acre farm one-half mile north of Aledo. He was counted in the US Census 11
Jun 1880 in north half of Mercer Twp, Mercer, IL.
Samuel married Margaret Ann Ebner, daughter of Daniel Ebner and Elizabeth Welliver,
on 20 Nov 1856 in Perryton, Mercer, IL. Margaret was born 3 Jan 1839 in , Columbia,
PA. She died 12 Feb 1900 in Aledo, Mercer, IL and was buried in Aledo Cemetery,
Aledo, Mercer, IL. Margaret was counted in the US Census 24 Sep 1850 in Perryton
Twp, Mercer, IL. She was counted in the US Census 11 Jun 1880 in north half of
Mercer Twp, Mercer, IL.

Parthena Ann Aikins was born 21 Dec 1831 in Ohio.
Parthena was counted in the US Census 21 Sep 1850 in Deerfield Twp, Morgan, Ohio.

Caroline Matilda Aikins was born 30 Aug 1834.

Any information that could be provided on Caroline's ancestry or on her daughters or other family members would be greatly appreciated.
