Charlotte DUVALL Hurst has been written about in a few publications in Atchison Co., MO. These have all stated that she was born in Ohio. Her grave marker doesn't give her maiden name and the book published by the Atchison Co. Genealogy Society, "Gone But Not Forgotten", lists her maiden name as Hale in one spot and D. Vall in another. But everything else I read about her gives her maiden name as Duvall. Anyway, she was born in 1810 and died in 1899, in Atchison o., MO. I've only been working on my family tree for 2 1/2 years but there are several of my cousins who have been working on the Hurst tree for years and none have been able to find out who her parents were or if she had siblings. I just thought it odd that they would name their first son Mareen when the name didn't occur anywhere in the Hurst line, only in the Duvall line. I appreciate your suggestions but I think some of my cousins have already looked for her records and came up empty handed. If you think of anything else, please let me know. Thanks!
