I've seen Newman's book, and I was unaware that it contained any verified information prior to Mareen's arrival in Maryland. Just how reliable is this lineage back to "Sir" Hugh Duvall? I've seen in several places that Mareen's parents were Thomas Duvall and Nicola Stagard, but never seen _any_ source information for it other than a "Mareen Duvall Family Newsletter."

I'm curious -- do most other Duvall researchers seem to think that this lineage is correct, or is it (like so many other "noble" lineages) a fabrication?
