I am just starting to trace the family tree. I know it starts in MD with Mareen Duvall and end in TX with my grandfather Samuel Devall. I was told that the name changed due to mispelled birth records at some point. Does anyone know the story there? I know there is a long line of Samuels in the family tree, but don't know where to start. Does anyone have information on the Texas Devall family?
