hello cindy, i have read 100s of rev. war pension applacations to find out what little i know.his son john filed a pension app. to see if there were any benefits for him self.he did not know much about his fathers service other than his mother told him he served through the war. capt.lewis or his wife never applied for benefits so that information is lost.the only complete document we have is his applacation for pay for his service,which you have. for now, joe duvall
