hello darla, welcome to the search. you are starting with some good information.i see you are saying that lewis duvall of clinton co. ky. is a son of capt. lewis duvall. do you have any proff? there are two proven sons of capt. lewis duvall. john by his applacation for rev. war benefits and william , who capt. lewis stated was his son when he picked up his pay for rev. war service. lewis of clinton co. ky is probly a decendent of capt. lewis duvall, more likley a grandson.there is a 3rd lewis duvall that is probly the son of capt. lewis duvall. family providence from your line state there was another lewis duvall who was killed driving horses to kentucky. this information comes from mrs elizabeth karas. a old time duvall researcher. this is probly true because this lewis was arrested in greenville co. s.c. in 1794 for horse stealing. in 1794 lewis duvall of clinton co. ky. would be 5 years old. for now, joe duvall
