On pps. 25-27 of the big red book, Mareen Duvall of Middle Plantation, it says there's been argument over the question of his wives and which children belonged to which, but that Judge Gabriel Duvall said:

1st 5 by first wife - John, Mareen the Elder, Lewis, Samuel, & Eleanor

last 7 by Susannah - Susannah, Mareen the Younger, Catherine, Elizabeth, Mary, Johanna, and Benjamin

I believe both the 1st & 3rd wives were Mary(s), and that the 3rd didn't have any children with him, and that Mareen the Younger is the child who married Elizabeth Jacob.

Be careful with all the proliferation of sites on the Web - look for citation of sources. Lots of people are beginning to copy and pass on lots of unsubstantiated "glop"!
