My grandfather was Walter Duvall, his father was George W. Duvall who married Mary Jane Lunn, my grandfather's other siblings were Claude, Evie L., and Homer. George W.'s father and mother were James L. Duvall and Matilda R. The census records show James and Matilda living in Fayette County, Tenn in 1850. With these children, Lee 22, John 19, James 18, Susan R 15, Louiza 13, Peter 11, George W. 9, Andrew J. 7, Samuel 6 and Elizabeth 5 months. On the census records, James L. list his age as 45 and Matilda gives hers as 44. James gives Virginia as his place of birth as does Matilda. I would like to find out who James L's parents were and also Matilda's parents, and if anyone knows who Mary Jane Lunn's parents were that would be nice also. I think George W. and Mary Jane were married in Texas, Claude their son was born in Texas, the rest of the children were listed as born in Arkansas on the census. Also, what happened to the rest of the family that were listed on the 1850 census records for Fayette County, Tennessee, was George W. the only one of the siblings to end up in Pope County, Arkansas? Well someone, may or may not be able to help me out with this. Thank you.
