hello lynda, lewis duvall is the father of william and bailey duvall and is generaly thought to be a grandson of capt. lewis duvall of laurens and greenville co. s.c. capt. lewis duvall had proven sons william and john.william a rev. war solder. the bailey duvall living near capt. lewis is generaly thought to be a unproven son. there are several duvall's generaly thought to be sons of capt. lewis duvall altho not proven. amoung them are the above mentioned. william and lewis are not found anywhere,bailey,john and alexander went to tenn. the lewis duvall in clinton co. ky. and benjamin in ohio co. ky. are generaly considered to be grandsons.any of the above mention five could be the father of lewis duvall of ark. and texas. there could also be unknown sons of capt. lewis duvall amoung them george duvall, captured at the fall of charleston. peter duvall,served with the british in charlston, and jeremiah captured by the british at the fall of charlston and who died on a prison ship. joe duvall.
