Seeking info on Jacob Duval Born somewhere around 1811/13? in Can. Not to sure of wife or wife`s name.
1860 St Laurance NY census shows him married to a Doratha, b. abt. 1816 in Can. Children: Charles S 18 Can, John 16 Can 16, Richard 11 Can, Mary E 9 NY, Sarah 7 NY, Samuel 4 NY, Laura 2 NY
1870 Rice Co MN census Dunda Bridgewater shows Jacob age 50 and married to a Divet age 50 born in Can. children:
John 26 Can, Charles 30 Can, Sarah 16 NY,
Ellen 20 NY, Samuel 14 NY, Richard 21 NY
1880 Barron Co WI Dallas TWP census shows
Jacob Duval age 69 born in Can, shows both parents born in NY. He is living in the house hold of a John Myers age 54 born in Ger both parents born in Ger. Jacob has son Richard age 27 born Can living with him.
His son Charles S Duval is shown in a house hold in same twp near by at age 38 born in NY with wife Mary (Mary A Cook)age 30 born in PA both parents born in PA. Son Claude Edward age 10 born MN, son John O age 4 MN aka Charles Oscar Duval.
John Duval and Samuel Duval also were living in Barron Co WI in 1880 by father Jacob Duval.
Charles S Duval married Mary A Cook 1868 in Rice Co MN.
Charles S Duval and brother John W Duval both joined the civil war in St Lawrence Co NY out of Pottsdam. Charles S Duval show`s his mother as Elizabeth.
